01 Who We Are

This website is owned and operated by Luminour Wellness (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., which trades as Skin Stein. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Skin Stein, and "you" refers to the person browsing the site or placing an order.

Our registered address and contact details are listed in section 22. Skin Stein products are cosmetic skincare formulations intended for external use on the skin only.

02 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, creating an account or placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy, all of which form part of this agreement.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the website or purchase from us.

03 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a contract to purchase from us. If you are under 18, you may use the site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who will be responsible for the order.

We currently ship within India only, and orders must be placed for personal use unless you are an approved trade partner under our Partner With Us programme.

04 Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Please tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information, including a correct delivery address and a reachable phone number. Orders with incomplete or clearly incorrect details may be delayed or cancelled. We may suspend or close accounts that are used for fraud, abuse, repeated refusal of deliveries or resale without approval.

05 Products & Descriptions

We make every effort to describe our products, ingredients and directions of use accurately. Even so, colours, textures and packaging may look different on your screen because of photography, lighting and display settings, and packaging design may be updated from time to time.

Natural and plant-derived ingredients can cause slight batch-to-batch variation in colour or scent. This does not affect the safety or performance of the formulation. Product availability is not guaranteed, and we may add, change or discontinue products without notice.

06 Pricing & Payment

All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. Prices may change at any time, but a change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.

Payment must be completed at checkout through the payment methods offered on the site. All transactions are processed by third-party payment gateways — we do not store your card, UPI or net-banking credentials. Where Cash on Delivery is available, it may be restricted by pin code, order value or product, and a handling fee may apply.

If a product has been listed at an obviously incorrect price due to a technical or human error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it at that price.

07 Orders & Acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch — an order confirmation email or SMS acknowledges receipt of your order, not our acceptance of it.

We may cancel or reduce an order if the item is out of stock, if we cannot deliver to your pin code, if we suspect fraud or misuse of an offer, or if quantity limits have been exceeded. In such cases the amount paid is refunded to the original payment method.

Once an order has been packed or dispatched, we may not be able to modify the address, items or cancel it. Requests to change an order should reach us as early as possible.

08 Offers & Coupons

Coupons, discounts and promotional offers are valid only for the stated period, cannot be combined unless we say so, and must be applied at checkout — they cannot be added to an order after it has been placed.

Free shipping applies on prepaid orders above the threshold displayed on the site (currently ₹499), calculated after discounts. Where a discount was applied to an order that is later returned in part, the refund is calculated on the amount actually paid for the returned item, and the benefit may be forfeited if the order no longer meets the offer condition.

We may withdraw or modify any offer at our discretion, and may cancel orders where a code has been misused, shared publicly or used through multiple accounts.

09 Shipping & Delivery

Orders are usually dispatched within 1–3 working days, and delivery timelines depend on your location and the courier. Estimated delivery dates are indicative, not guaranteed, and may be longer during festive periods, sales or on account of weather, strikes or courier delays.

Tracking details are shared once your order is dispatched and can take up to 24 hours to begin updating. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If a parcel is returned to us because it was refused, or because nobody was available after repeated attempts, or because the address was incorrect, we may deduct shipping charges from the refund. 10 Returns & Refunds

Because these are personal-care products, we can generally accept returns only where an item is damaged, defective, expired or incorrect. Opened or used products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons unless there is a genuine defect.

Please report any damage, leakage, shortage or wrong item within 48 hours of delivery, with clear photographs of the product, its batch details and the outer packaging, and an unboxing video if you have one. This lets us raise a claim with the courier while it is still possible. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method and typically reach you within 5–10 working days after we receive and inspect the item. 11 Safe Use of Products

Our formulations contain active ingredients. Please read the label and directions before use, patch test before first use, introduce actives gradually, and use sun protection during the day when using brightening or exfoliating products.

Discontinue use and consult a doctor if you experience persistent irritation, redness or discomfort. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a diagnosed skin condition, or are using prescription treatments such as retinoids or hydroquinone, please consult a dermatologist before use. Products are for external use only — keep away from eyes, mucous membranes and children, and store away from direct sunlight and heat.

12 Results & Claims

Skin Stein products are cosmetics, not medicines. Nothing on this website is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and no content on the site is a substitute for professional medical advice.

Results vary from person to person depending on skin type, consistency of use, sun exposure, hormones and other factors, and we do not guarantee a specific outcome or timeline. Reviews, before-and-after images and testimonials reflect individual experiences of participants and customers, shared with consent; text may have been lightly edited for clarity while preserving the original sentiment.

13 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, and not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, scrape or copy its content in bulk, or introduce malicious code.

You may not resell our products, list them on marketplaces, or market them under another name without our written approval. Any review, comment or content you submit must be your own, must not be false, offensive or infringing, and may be published, edited or removed by us. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it in our marketing.

14 Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including the Skin Stein name and logo, product names, formulations, packaging design, photographs, illustrations, text and layout — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property law.

You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use, including reproduction, republication, alteration or commercial exploitation, requires our prior written permission. All human images on our site are photographs of pilot-study participants used with informed consent and protected under applicable copyright laws.

15 Third-Party Links

Our site may link to third-party websites, marketplaces or social media pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.

Products bought through a marketplace or an unauthorised seller are governed by that seller's policies, and we cannot guarantee their authenticity, storage or freshness.

16 Liability

The website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses, though we take reasonable steps to keep it secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, opportunity or data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law.

17 Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, fire, floods, strikes, riots, war, government action, courier or logistics failures, power outages, or internet and payment gateway disruptions.

18 Privacy

We collect and use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and the choices available to you.

We will never ask you for your password, OTP, CVV, UPI PIN or card details over phone, email or WhatsApp, and we do not ask customers to scan a QR code to receive a refund. If someone claiming to be from Skin Stein asks for payment outside our website, please do not pay and report it to us.

19 Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page with a new "last updated" date. The terms in force at the time you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.

Please review this page periodically. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

20 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights under consumer protection law, the courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of this website.

We would always prefer to resolve a concern directly. Please contact our support team first, and escalate to our Grievance Officer if the matter remains unresolved.

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, complaints that have not been resolved by our support team may be escalated to:
